PACU Registered Nurse (RN) – Jackson, MS – Contract – $66/hr

Pay rate: $66.00/hr

Schedule: 13-week contract, Nights, 36 hours

Position Requirements:

• Current and active MS Registered Nurse License
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Previous ICU or ICU overflow experience required
• Current Tuberculosis screening
• Hepatitis B, Influenza, and COVID vaccinations or approved exemptions
• Background and Drug Screening

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Observing patients for side effects of anesthesia
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs
• Monitoring patient’s level of consciousness throughout sedation recovery
• Performing post-operative tasks, such as administering medication or changing dressings
• Other duties as assigned.
