Med Surg Unit Nurse (Med/Surg RN) – St Augustine, FL – PRN/Contract – $55/hr-$65/hr

PRN/Contract opportunities available – Compensation at the rate of $55/hr-$65/hr!

Job Requirements:

• Current and active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year experience in Main OR
• Minimum 3 years Cardiovascular experience 
• Orthopedic & Laparoscopic experience required
• GYN experience preferred
• Endoscopy experience preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform physical exams, health histories, nursing assessments and routine observations for patients within established time frames
• Recognize and intervene in life threatening emergencies, including the administration of emergency drugs, defibrillator or other emergency treatment
• Collect, label, and conduct follow-up for patient blood draws and laboratory specimen samples 
• Oversee patient assistance for personal care including bathing, toileting, dietary needs, ambulation, and transfer
• Document patient assessment findings, care rendered, procedures performed, and other various aspects of patient plan of care
